Do you need statistics on crime locally. Take a look at the following website: www.RocDocs.com/CrimeMap.
“It’s based on a massive database of crime reports filed by the Rochester Police Department since January 1, 2008. The information is provided by the RPD and is updated daily. People “can select a date range or choose a type of crime to narrow the search. People can get an overview of what is going on in their neighborhood. People can zero in to what’s happened at a specific address, or look up the basic details of a specific incident. The database that powers the map includes reports for incidents categorized as “Part I Crimes” under the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) guidelines. This includes homicide, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny and motor vehicle theft”.
