The Business & Social Sciences Division of the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County and the SUNY College at Brockport Small Business Development Center (SBDC)are sponsoring a free program on Friday morning, February 26 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building located at 115 South Avenue, Rochester.
Carla Vazquez, Business Advisor with the SUNY College at Brockport SBDC, will host the program, “Energy Challenges and Solutions for Business in the 21st Century.” Speakers will include Anthony Presti, Energy Specialist from SUNY Farmingdale and NYSERDA representatives. The program will cover the New York State Small Business Energy Savings Program. For eligible businesses, NYSERDA conducts an energy efficiency audit for a small fee. Recommendations are made to improve energy efficiency and produce savings. Low-cost loans and tax incentives are available to implement energy efficiency projects. Upon implementation of recommended energy efficiency measures, the audit fee is partially or completely refunded.
