We have another free Small Business program at the Central Library.
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at The College at Brockport, State University of New York, and the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County are presenting a small business seminar entitled “Small Business Financing in Turbulent Times” on December 11, 2008.
Local experts will talk about government guaranteed loan programs and bank financing options that are available for the small business owner and start-ups. Topics will include: credit requirements, the loan underwriting process, general loan procedures, and components of a successful business plan – all important aspects of securing a loan in a stormy economic climate.
The program provides tips to grow your business, counsel on how to overcome financial road blocks, and information on how to take advantage of the many loan opportunities currently available in the Greater Rochester area.
Pre-registration for this free program is requested. Register online or by calling the Central Library at 585-428-8130.
